Selenium shows short-term benefits only
Our study examined the effects of selenium in treating mild-to-moderate Graves' orbitopathy (GO) over five years. We followed 74 patients who took selenium or a placebo for six months, tracking their symptoms and quality of life.

Initially, selenium showed promise by reducing symptoms like blurred vision, with significant improvements over six months. However, when we looked at long-term outcomes after five years, both groups had similar results, indicating that while selenium may help in the short term, it doesn't contribute to lasting changes.

Improved visual acuity
Bilberry extract enhances blood circulation in the eyes, while blueberry anthocyanins strengthen blood capillaries to boost blood flow to the retina. They also stimulate the production of essential pigments in the retina, enabling better adaptation to light and dark. Moreover, bilberry anthocyanins promote the synthesis and renewal of the visual pigment rhodopsin, which aids in improving visual acuity and adapting to low light conditions. This process accelerates the natural renewal of the retina and reduces eye fatigue from prolonged use.

Clearer vision experienced
I have been taking this supplement for eight days and noticed that my vision, brain, lungs, and body felt clearer from the second day. My phlegm began to break up on the second and third days. Additionally, my stubborn high systolic blood pressure has dropped to 120/low and even 112, whereas I usually measured 120 to 130/low. My diastolic pressure has also decreased to below 90 or below 100, from previously being above 90 or 100.
